Decisions, Decisions...
Lucy told me she doesn't want to do dance because it's boring. Truly, the kid has a point. If I register her in dance, she has to do pre-ballet AGAIN because she's not yet 6 years old. She was in creative movement at age 2 and 3 and she's been in pre-ballet for 3 sessions already. This would be her fourth session in the same class and they aren't learning any actual ballet steps. Once she is 6 she can move up into elementary ballet and it doesn't matter how much experience you've had in pre-ballet, they place all the girls in the same level at age 6. So... we're taking a break from that. She said she didn't want to do tap again because it's too loud (another valid point) and she doesn't want to try hip hop even when I told her it was "Lady Gaga dancing" *laughs* She's been asking me to do gymnastics since she was 2 and called it somersault class but when I looked into it at the YMCA it was outside our budget. However, if we aren't doing dance this year we will have that money to do something else instead. I'll look into that...
