Luci just spilled her orange juice all over her bed. While Grei was cleaning it up, Luci came to tell me what happened. I said, "Did you say you're sorry?" and she turns around to go tell Grei she's sorry. I expected a simple, "I'm sorry Daddy." but she says "I'm sorry for making a mess on my bed. I'll try not to do it again." She amazes me every day :)

Second Life Stuff
I may get around to posting photos eventually here, but I finished most of my hunt gifts for the month of February. There should be previews of them on my store blog sometime over the next few days. I got Beka interested in SL again and made her my little av's twin. We are now double trouble three year old redheaded brats. Fun stuff. I just wish our SL Mom was on more often. Maybe I'll hire us a babysitter...

Welcome to the madness...
I was just sitting here over breakfast this morning thinking about how I should start a blog for me. I have Facebook and Plurk and a blog for my store on Second Life (from here on out known as SL), but I don't yet have a place for myself to just rant away randomly about things.
As of this writing I am 31 and I live with my boyfriend/fiance/domestic partner/familial associate of the last 7 years, 40 year old Grei and our daughter Luciana (Luci, Bug, Doodle, etc.) who is 3 and a half going on 13. Luci's bio father is only around on Fridays for a few hours in the morning, so we don't talk about him much. He doesn't really count since he basically only helped create her while Grei has done all the hard stuff. We also live with a cat named Jasper, a large tank full of pond goldfish and a tiny Little Mermaid tank housing a beta (Mister Blue) and cory catfish (Mister White).
Our daily lives are fairly mundane and nothing exciting really ever happens. We like it that way. I play daily, and by daily I mean all day long, on SL and I run a store there which is beginning to make me some RL (real life) cash. Not much, mind you, but how much do you get paid to play games? If you play SL too, my name is Violet Steamweaver there. While yes, I am usually logged in all day long, I am rarely actually sitting in front of the computer for more than 15 minutes at a time as Luci keeps me on my toes. Also, I homeschool her and that takes up a lot of time throughout the day.
Now that the holidays have passed, Luci's dance classes and storytimes have started up again. It's nice to get out of the house and socialize with people face to face, but some days it's really difficult to get out the front door without having a panic attack. The things you do for your kids. So, yes, I have social anxiety and some depression, a bit of OCD and maybe a few other things tossed together to make for a great mental fruit salad.
Otherwise, I am, for the most part, pretty healthy. I am "morbidly obese" - doesn't that sound like a death metal band? But I do not have diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol or any of that fun stuff. I'm just fat. Maybe I can use this blog to help me lose some weight too! On Christmas Eve I weighed in at 289.5. A few days ago I was surprised to see 281.3 I haven't really changed my eating habits and I'm certainly not moving more, but being that close to the 270s, it's tempting to start trying again. I haven't seen the 270s in a long time.
