Tricycle!

I got a new tricycle today. For me. I feel like such a nerd, but I never could get the hang of riding on two wheels without falling over, so when I saw this on the side of the road with a For Sale sign on it, I couldn't pass it up!

I'm hoping this will aid me in my weight loss journey. I've been stuck on a plateau, not gaining but not losing either. I know I need to add in some activity, but other than walking I wasn't sure what to try out. Well this was fun! We took a ride around town today for about an hour and I was sweating to death, but it felt great to get out and move again!

Ballet Performance #2

Here is a video of Lucy's first official stage performance. All goes well until she looks up to check out the lights and she forgets what she's doing. I'm just glad she didn't run off the stage screaming and finished off doing her best! The other girls in her class were all very sweet to her. They were all giving her hugs and telling her it's okay and everyone forgets sometimes.

Ballet Rehearsal

Lucy had her first ballet performance on stage today. She was so excited to dance on the stage on her birthday! Technically it was just the dress rehearsal, but it was super cute! They won't let us take pics or video on stage (I snuck one hehe) because a "professional" is doing it, and they don't want any distractions, so we'll see what they come up with. In any case, check out the pics because Miss Lucy is adorable :)
