Happy 6th Birthday Lucy!

Knee Pains...

Lucy's knee keeps bothering her, so we are going to see the doctor again tomorrow. Three times this week she's burst into tears telling me that it hurts in the same place (the same place it's been bothering her on and off for the last year but usually at night so I figured it was growing pains) and all three times it was totally random (once while running, once going down stairs and once in the pool) and only lasted for about 15 minutes then she was fine. Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this.

Who needs a microwave?

Two things I thought I couldn't live without -- television and a microwave. We haven't used either in over 6 months now and I really don't miss them! Granted, I stream a bunch of tv shows on my computer throughout the month, but the boob tube isn't on in the background 12 hours a day. Also, I really thought I'd miss the microwave more than not at all *laughs*

Dinosaurs On TV

We watched Jurassic Park a few days ago. Just now Lucy says "Mom, you know how they make dinosaurs on TV? They put that DNA stuff from amber into an egg and then when they're born babies the dinosaur doctors put them into their habitats." hehehe

Girl Scouts Community Service

Our Girl Scouts went to the pet shop this evening to buy items to donate to the Humane Society. We got lots of food, cat litter, leashes and dog toys to help them out! 

6 Year Well Visit

Lucy had her 6 year well visit checkup today. She weighs 42lbs and is 45" tall which keeps her right on that 50th percentile line. We can officially move to a booster seat but she's in no rush to get out of her 5pt harness and since it goes to 55lbs and 49" we have a ways to go yet!
